Kate is a second-generation family lawyer with over a decade of experience practising exclusively in family law. She is highly experienced in matters involving domestic and family violence, coercive control and complex power dynamics, and is known for her trauma-informed approach to representing clients in highly sensitive and high-conflict cases.
Kate places a strong emphasis on building honest, trusting relationships with her clients, ensuring they feel safe, heard and well-informed at every stage of their matter. She is a strategic and determined advocate, and when litigation is required, Kate is a confident and effective litigator who is deeply committed to protecting her clients’ interests.
Kate’s practice focuses on complex parenting and financial disputes, international and jurisdictional family law matters, and the evolving legal issues affecting non-nuclear family structures. She combines sharp legal insight with genuine care, guiding clients through even the most challenging cases with clarity, strength and professionalism.

Meredith has practised exclusively in family law for almost 15 years and has specialist expertise in high-risk matters involving allegations of domestic and family violence.
Meredith can provide you with advice across a broad range of family law matters including divorce, spouse maintenance and property settlement matters. She has extensive experience in complex parenting disputes, especially those involving risk issues, international family law issues, and in matters where family law disputes intersect with state-based domestic violence legal issues. In her work as an Independent Children's Lawyer Meredith represents children’s best interests in some of the most high-risk, intricate parenting cases.
As an accredited Family Dispute Resolution Practitioner, Meredith is dedicated to resolving disputes before they reach Court to reduce the emotional and financial toll of litigation.
Through her practice she prioritises empathetic, practical solutions that align with your goals, offering trauma-informed support during what can be a challenging period in your and your family’s life.
